Incumbents | Current Board Members Running for Re-election

Nate Downey | Serving Frontier Credit Union since 2010
My association with Frontier Credit Union began almost 25 years ago when I was hired as a Credit Union employee. I worked as a teller, lead teller, loan officer, mortgage loan officer and assistant branch manager during my 7 years of employment. A year after leaving the Credit Union as an employee, I was elected to the Board of Directors where I have been serving for 16 years. During this time I have served as board treasurer, secretary, vice-chairman and chairman. My years of employment combined with my time volunteering as a board member provide me with a unique operational knowledge and understanding of the organization as well as the Credit Union industry as a whole and position me to be a highly skilled asset on the board. I am currently employed with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and am proud to be a husband and father of 7 kids!

Tyler Brooks | Serving Frontier Credit Union since 2014
I am a lifelong resident of Idaho Falls. I was born and raised here, attending Falls Valley Elementary, Clair E. Gale Jr. High, and graduating from Bonneville High School in 1988. Following high school, I attended Ricks College and later continued my education at Utah State University.
In 1987, while still in high school, I started my first business, Energy Light and Sound, which later became A&B Productions. In 2026, we celebrate 39 years in business. Over the decades, we have had the privilege of employing many talented individuals and serving communities across Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. Our company has been honored as the Best Entertainment Company in East Idaho for six consecutive years. I continue to enjoy helping clients plan unforgettable events and weddings each day.
I have been married to my wife, Amy, for 30 years, and together we have three wonderful children. Our son Tyson is married and lives in Spanish Fork, Utah, with his wife and their twin daughters. Our second daughter, Makayla, is married and works at Love Olive Co. in Rigby. Our youngest daughter Sabrina is 19 and currently attending BYU-Idaho.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, playing games, landscaping, music, sports, traveling, and serving in my church.
I have served on the Frontier Credit Union Board since 2014 and truly value the opportunity. I am passionate about representing our members and working collaboratively to make Frontier Credit Union the best financial institution in Idaho.
