The Foundations is dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of children and families across Idaho.

The Frontier Foundation’s roots trace back to 1987 with the launch of the “Coins for Christmas” program. An initiative that encourages kids to help their peers in need. In 2018, this program evolved into “Kicks for Kids”, expanding its reach and impact. Today, the Frontier Foundation continues to provide new shoes to less fortunate children, helping to ensure that every child can step into the future with confidence.

Fundraising efforts like the annual Kicks for Kids Golf Tournament and the Coins for Christmas Fundraiser are essential to the Foundation’s success. Through these fundraising efforts, we provide shoe vouchers to children identified by participating schools and organizations in Idaho. Shoe vouchers are requested by School Councilors, Social Workers, and other local leaders in our communities.
