Set up Apple Pay on your Phone

Open the Wallet App, and tap the + icon. Scan your Frontier Credit Union Debit/Credit card or enter the card details manually. Follow the instructions that follow.

Pay with iPhone with Face ID

To use your default card, double-click the side button.
Glance at your iPhone to authenticate with Face ID, or enter your passcode.
Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader until you see Done and a checkmark on the display.

Pay with iPhone with Touch ID

To use your default card, rest your finger on Touch ID.
Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader until you see Done and a checkmark on the display.

Pay with Apple Watch

To use your default card, double-click the side button
Hold the display of your Apple Watch near the contactless reader.
Wait until you feel a gentle tap.

Set up Samsung Pay on your Phone

Samsung Pay comes preloaded on available phones, but you can always reinstall it, if needed.

Once it’s installed, open Samsung Pay, and then tap Get started. Enter a new PIN for Samsung Pay, and then enter it again to confirm. If it’s your first time using Samsung Pay, you will be asked to add payment cards. Add your cards or tap Samsung Pay Home to skip this step for now.

To add an extra layer of security to your Samsung Pay account, you can turn on biometric security, like Fingerprint or Iris verification.

Use your Fingerprint With Samsung Pay

Open Samsung Pay, and then tap Menu in the upper left corner. Tap Settings, and then tap the switch next to Fingerprint or Irises. Once you have activated one, follow the on-screen instructions to set up either Fingerprint or Iris verification. If you don’t have a Lock screen set up, you may be required to set one up for your phone.

Set up Google Pay on your Phone

Download Google Pay from the iPhone App Store or the Google Play Store. Open the Google Pay app and follow the setup instructions that are provided. When you’re asked to, add your Frontier Credit Union Debit/Credit card. You may be asked to set up a screen lock on your device.

Google Pay works with PIN, pattern, password, fingerprint, or retinae scanning screen locks. It won’t work with facial recognition or screen locks like Smart Unlock or Knock to Unlock.

To make purchases in stores: Make sure your device meets software standards, has NFC, and NFC is turned on. Your phone must also have HCE.

If you have another contactless payment app on your phone: In your phone’s Settings app, make Google Pay the default payment app.

Set up FitBit Pay on your Phone

Download the FitBit app on your Phone. With your device nearby, tap the Today tab , and tap your profile picture. Tap your device image, then tap the Wallet tile. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your Frontier Credit Union Debit/Credit card. In some cases, Frontier may require additional verification. If you’re setting up Fitbit Pay for the first time, you may be prompted to set a 4-digit PIN code for your device.

Note that you also need passcode protection enabled for your phone.

After you add your Frontier Credit Union Debit/Credit card, follow the on-screen instructions to turn on notifications for your phone (if you haven’t already done so) to complete the setup.

Set Up Garmin Pay on your Phone

Download the Garmin app on your Phone. Open the app and go to Garmin Devices and choose your watch. Select Garmin Pay and tap Create Your Wallet. You will then create a 4 digit pass code to keep the app secure. Select Visa as your card type. Scan your card or enter the card information manually. Once the card it verified, the card will be added to your wallet.
