The Best Place to Work in Idaho!
On April 19, 2018, East Idaho Credit Union took home 1st place as the best place to work in Idaho among large companies. Employees from the credit union traveled to Boise, Idaho for the ceremony and to accept the award on behalf of Frontier. This is quite an accomplishment, as it shows how much we value our employees careers and our members.
For the past 4 years, East Idaho Credit Union has taken this award very seriously. This awards importance doesn’t come from the recognition or hardware, it comes from the reassurance that we are doing something right for both our members and employees.
ABOUT THE AWARD
The Best Places to Work in Idaho program started in 2008. This year, 2018, marks the eleventh year for the program and participation has grown nearly 175% in the last six years. To date, the program has surveyed over 230 Idaho employers, with over 48,000 completed surveys returned. Employers are in different categories based on the number of employees, with East Idaho Credit Union placed in the Large Employers category.
Other large employers, and those Frontier was being judged against included: Mountain America Credit Union, Westmark Credit Union, Pioneer Federal Credit Union, Idaho Independence Bank, Dutch Bros. Coffee (Wight) and more!

To take 1st place for an award like this takes great leaders with a vision of excellence. East Idaho Credit Union is lucky to have people like Trevor Arehart, HR Director. Along with many others in a position of leadership, Trevor is responsible for the employees of the credit union and making sure that this is a place where people want to come and spend their whole career.
